Change lives. Change organizations. Change the world.
Markets have tremendous potential for solving environmental problems. Through case analysis, students will learn to apply core business principles of finance, marketing, economics, operations, accounting, and more to the provision of environmental goods and services. Case topics include innovation in materials and energy, conservation of land and wildlife, environmental product differentiation and supply chain management, investing under regulatory risk, and partnership between nonprofit and for-profit organizations.
Students will hear from environmental entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, corporate executives and nonprofit leaders. They will develop a business plan for an environmental endeavor.
This elective course is offered to all Stanford GSB and Sloan students. Current students, please check MyGSB for more information.
