Enhancing Business Education for Rural Entrepreneurs

When Stanford Graduate School of Business students Scott Raymond and Katherine Boas returned from a December 2006 service learning experience to Thailand and Cambodia, they brought back more than souvenirs and class credit. What they created while volunteering with a program that helps to alleviate poverty in Thailand has now been duplicated at microlending organizations around the world.
